Alphabet Collection is a series surrounding the letters of the alphabet. The alphabet is the building block for language and how as a community we organize thought. It inspired the artist to explore the idea of conventional vs the unconventional while being tethered to one sole structure, the letter with which the idea starts with. The Alphabet Collection hopes to delve into the realms of camp, theatrics, and unsettling whimsy. Each letter of the alphabet serves as a portal into its own world where the familiar meets the surreal. Some letters may seem ridiculous, while some letters strike the feeling that something “seems off” but you can't put your finger on what.
